Interesting menu, delicious food. Jerk chicken and oxtail are great. The delivery service is so quick!!! Update January 2025 This spot continues to knock it out of the park with food quality, consistency, and portions. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

My husband and I went here yesterday for some Jerk Chicken. #1. Service is on point, we were asked multiple times if anything could be brought to us. Service was the best I’ve ever had at any Caribbean spot. #2. The patties.. OMG delicious and fresh. We each had one in the restaurant and my husband ended up buying two to take with us and ate them in the car almost immediately. He could not stop raving about them. #3. The jerk chicken was the best I’ve had at any restaurant in Ontario or Nova Scotia. The flavour was spectacular, the spice level was perfect. The next time we return to NS we will be back! Amazing food, amazing all around service. Was definitely a memorable experience. Thank you again. You are killing it!!

Had the Oxtail, hot, with mashed potatoes and plantains. Darn tasty. Just the right kick of heat to pair with the spice. Mashed potatoes were AMAZING. Didn't expect that. Recommend them. The plantains were pretty tasty too. Large portion for the price, glad I was starving!

Owner and co-owner are amazing people and strive to beat all the standards of pure Jamaican food almost as if you were back at home in Jamaica. The goat and rice is amazing and the buy one get one deal is very good. We are so blessed to have a restaurant like this to bridge the gap for cultural experiences like you would have back home in Jamaica that you would rarely see here in eastern Canada especially in Nova Scotia at that. Absolutely INCREDIBLE service and food here. The seasonings of each dish is top tier and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff is very nice and I can tell they are heart centred! This establishment also has Eco friendly cutlery which are wooden and a very nice touch as I love to minimize my footprint. Very good energy here too. I’m excited to come back. And I love that they have vegan options too which were delicious. Also the decor and the environment is very warm and inviting. Thank you for having us!!

I worked with them for catering a series of weekly events throughout the month of February. The food was phenomenal! Everyone enjoyed the rotating menu. The food went so quickly it was hard to even get pictures. No complaints what so ever. Everyone we interacted with was also lovely, had great communication and customer service. Highly recommend

A True Taste of Jamaica, with All the Love and Soul Walking into Brawta felt like walking into a warm hug. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was full of joy, laughter, and genuine kindness. Everyone we met was incredibly welcoming, like being invited into someone’s home for dinner rather than just going out to eat. The food? Absolutely unforgettable. We had the oxtail with rice and beans, coleslaw, and mac and cheese, and every bite was pure comfort. You could taste the layers of flavour and the care that went into every dish. We also tried two patties, beef and shrimp, and they were packed with rich, savory spice and flaky, golden goodness. What really blew us away was how much love and handmade soul went into everything. You can tell this isn’t just cooking, it’s culture, tradition, and heart on a plate. We laughed and chatted with the staff, felt right at home, and even got to witness the Spicy Chicken Challenge, which added so much fun and energy to the experience. Brawta is more than a restaurant, it’s a celebration of Jamaican flavour and family spirit. If you’re looking for real food made with real love, this is the place. We’ll be back again and again!
